Lillian Sakamaki is a freelance makeup artist and hair stylist with
over 10 years experience working in commercial print, video and motion pictures.

Her love for makeup and hair began at age 4, when she trained and performed Japanese classical dance.
Fascinated by the transformation of what hair & makeup could do, this interest grew into a lifelong passion.

She began her career as a hair stylist working in Chicago and Tokyo, before discovering the wonderful world of makeup and hair for photography, television and film.
After receiving training from Oribe, Marcus Geeter and MAC, she went on to pursue her dream by working with photographers like Tony D'Orio, Annie Liebowitz and Sandro.

Lillian has had the opportunity to work with musicians and celebrities such as Alice Peacock, Neko Case, Martin Short and Matthew Modine.
Her work has appeared in Vanity Fair, Glamour Magazine, Chicago Magazine and Time Out. She has also worked on many commercials and industrials.
Her film credits include The Dark Knight and The Express.
